Thanks so much for the use of the villa while we were in Jamaica. It was a fantastic place to get some rest after an exhausting week of travel for our team. The staff was wonderful, the meals were great – I only wish we had time to stay longer. I know of another mission group that works in the Montego Bay area every year, and I passed your contact info on to them. If we ever take another missions trip to Jamaica, we’ll be sure to contact you again. The accommodations were ideal.

Dear Ed & Ursula:

Ken and I thank you on behalf of the entire Ledgard/Kayal families for the use of your beautiful villa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. A great deal of our time was spent sitting on the patio relaxing and enjoying the magnificent view. Unbelievable! You recommendations were great and we especially enjoyed going to Doctors Cave, where the beach was so clean. We did get to the Wyndham one day and had a nice day there. Also, Dunn’s River Falls was a breath-taking place to see. If for one did not attempt to climb up the falls. I did get to go the distance down to the sea and it truly was a beautiful sight.

Stanley, Melda, Gwen and Benson were outstanding. We got to go to the Native market with Austin (who also was great) and very patient with us. To have to put up with our crew was a chore in itself. We all are so grateful for the beautiful memories you allowed us staying at your villa.

Again, our most sincere thanks for the opportunity to stay at and enjoy your great Villa.

Just want to say thank you for a lovely week at your Villa in Jamaica. We will never forget the spectacular view and enjoyed your staff so much. Melda and Gwen were very sweet and very patient with us and Stanley was a great driver and more helpful to all of us. We enjoyed Austin as well. It was good to know Benson was on the premises as well.

I can't tell you how hard it was departing yesterday. Melda, Benson and Gwyn are amazing! They are so attentive, incredible cooks and so friendly. The weather couldn't have better during the entire 8 days we were there. Stanley knows all the "secret" places to shop, beaches and was a wonderful driver. Clive is so talented with his singing and very entertaining and our last night there he had one of his friends come and entertain us with some fire eating/dancing, limbo and dancing on his hands. It was a great way to end our trip. We did so many fun things. The dolphin swim was a fabulous experience. We shared the DVD we bought with Stanley and Melda. They loved it. I highly recommend it for any others that rent your villa. We would love to make a return trip - I have Melds, Gwyn, Stanley and Benson's addresses and plan to send them a little care package next week. They were truly a joy.

Just a few notes on our stay at High View. Thanks for sharing your home and your help with our stay. The diving was great fun. The golf course were spectacular. The view from the deck was every bit as good as you said it would be. The rooms were nicely furnished and well kept. The home matched our expectations. Hi,
I just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to use the villa for our visit to Jamaica. Although the occasion was a sad one (my dad's funeral) we did feel very much at home and accommodation was very convenient for my family. The view is awesome!!! Thanks for the wonderful week our family enjoyed at your lovely Jamaican Villa recently. We appreciated your taking the time to give us such great advice on activities and resources, and of course arranging for Stanley and his van. Our kids loved the ping pong table, and we all ooh'd and aah'd over the fabulous view. Most of all however, the staff elevated the week from great to to truly memorable. Gwen fixed my daughter's hair in corn rows and Melda baked her a birthday cake. Benson had coffee ready early every morning and forgave our late night ping pong tournaments. Our meals were top notch, the best Jamaican food we got. We all thank you for one of our best family vacations ever.

In July, I was fortunate enough to vacation at Highview Villa with my family. It is a beautiful villa and close enough to Montego Bay to enjoy the beaches and entertainment places. The Staff is excellent, Melda is a great cook and Gwen made sure the rooms were neat and clean and fresh towels were available in the bathrooms. Benson is very helpful and keeps the pool and grounds in terrific shape. He was always available to meet our needs. I would recommend Highview to anyone who is interested in vacationing in a gorgeous place with people to take care of you and always looking after your needs. I have vacationed in many places and this is one place I would definitely consider for a return trip!!"

My family recently spent 7 glorious days at High View Villa, Montego Bay, Jamaica and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had. Melda, Gwen and Benson made our stay seem like a week in paradise!!! The three of them spoiled us wonderfully!!! Our group realizes what a tremendous amount of work we were for your staff and want to be sure you know that everything was taken care of splendidly and ALWAYS with a smile! The villa was spotless, the grounds were beautiful, and the food was delicious. Melda and Gwen went way above and beyond to be sure we were able to sample regional foods and were wonderful about helping us in planning meals. Benson was a delight and was always on hand for us day and night...he even gave us a reggae dance lesson! We felt safe and secure during our entire stay knowing he was there. Our driving service was terrific..we drove poor Stanley CRAZY with changes in our plans and he accommodated each of us with "no problem!" His referrals to area sights, beaches, and shopping enhanced our stay.. it was a wonderful family reunion. I can't imagine a more perfect place or more wonderful people. Your staff truly are GEMS of the Carribean!!!

"What a lovely time I had with my family. The house was great and the cooks were fantastic! Benson, the gardener was cool and he would always cut down coconuts whenever we wanted. He was also the security. There was an awesome view from the balcony. We went to the Wyndham to go down the water slides, and we went to the Holiday Inn for parasailing. Being there for 8 days just wasn't enough. I hope to return someday with my family. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!

" I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your house in Jamaica in January.

Our stay was most memorable. Everyone had such a great time. We all hit the beach, both at the Wyndham, also we had 3 trips to Negril which we all loved, including sunset at Rick’s café, golf games, and the kids all went scuba diving. Some of the group also went to Black River falls.

The staff were excellent. We really enjoyed Melda’s island cooking. Richard seems to do everything, - always on watch opening the gates, barbecuing, gutting the fish we bought on the beach, and of course making the daily jug of rum punch! He was a treasure, and always had a big smile.

The house was perfect, and what a million dollar view! I can highly recommend it to my friends. Your garden looked lovely, and I had never seen such enormous poinsettias!

Hopefully we may be able to return some day."

"Thank you for the opportunity to spend seven wonderful days at the High View Villa. It was more than any of us ever expected. The villa is exceptional, well-suited for a large group, and maintained to the highest standards. The staff are professional and provide excellent service. Melda and Gwen are a great team and prepared delicious cuisine. They kept the villa spotless and were available to meet all of our needs. Richard is a true angel. He works hard and gives 100% of himself. His attitude and personality are genuine and remarkably loving.

The view from the villa is one that I will keep in my mind always. The pictures could never do it justice. We all enjoyed every moment of our vacation and plan to return one day very soon. The Manager was very helpful and kind.

We look forward to another trip to High View soon. I will definitely recommend you to others, so that they can share a piece of the heaven we experienced.
