Do I need to bring linens, bath towels or beach towels?

No, you do not need to bring linens.  We suggest you bring your own beach towels.  Our staff makes the beds everyday and we have plenty of towels.  Everything is laundered everyday.
 

What's the deal with food?

Melda, our on-staff cook will prepare meals for you.  Leave her some money and she will arrange to have groceries picked up for you or Stanley, our driver can take you down the hill to the Blue Diamond Shoppers Fair grocery store.  There you will find a comparable selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats to what you would find at any major US grocery store.  Reserve a special night and Stanely will take you to seaside stand to pick up fresh Caribbean Lobster and Crab that Melda will prepare into a Seafood Feast for dinner.

Where's the beach?

Stanley can drive you to Doctors Cave Beach bathing club in about 20 minutes.   Located in the middle of Montego Bay's "Hip Strip" on Gloucester Ave. Beach chairs, umbrellas and lilos can be rented daily, the beach is manicured every morning and the translucent waters which the doctors recognized as buoyant and invigorating have not changed.

Although many other beaches have some of the qualities of Doctor's Cave, none have all of them.  The new "Groovy Grouper" Beach Bar and Grill provide a great variety of meals and drinks.  Come and enjoy our great famous beach on your next visit to Montego Bay!

Can I rent a car? How do I get around?

The High View Villa provides its own private ground transportation service through our own tour representative, Stanley. He will ensure that you enjoy a hassle free vacation. Stanley can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. He can also take you anywhere you want to go around the island.

Stanley is very knowledgeable about the various sights and activities available and can match tours to meet the needs of all age groups and interests.

Is it safe?

Yes, High View Villa is located in the exclusive Torado Heights neighborhood.  Home to some of Montego Bay's most prosperous residents.

What if I forgot something;  Is there a store nearby I can buy toiletries?

Stanley can drive you down the hill to the Blue Diamond shopping center.  There you can pick up toiletries, groceries, liquor, gifts and even do money exchange. 

What's nearby? 

Whether you wish to be active or just kick back and enjoy the white sand beaches, Montego Bay has it all. 20 minutes from the Villa you can enjoy the beach, play slot machines or visit the duty free shops.

Jamaica is known for some of the finest scuba diving in the Caribbean. As our guest you will receive discounts on scuba diving and snorkeling. Also nearby are tennis, fishing, water-skiing and horseback riding.
